Hi James,
Just spotted this thread and realised you were at the Helicopter Museum on Sunday, parked right next to me!
I didn't realise you were a forum member but I had to rush off, wanted to chat about your sweet looking A4. Anyways, here are a couple of pics of my filthy Avant next to your clean white car!

I can't remember if I'm honest. If I did I don't think it was too much. Maybe £20 but honestly can't remember sorry@James.B8 when you purchased your springs did you have any additional charges ? Just checked the tracking and it says that it has been examined by HM Customs and charges may have been raised by them. A letter will be sent if chares are due ?
They have been delivered now not to worryI can't remember if I'm honest. If I did I don't think it was too much. Maybe £20 but honestly can't remember sorry

It's the autobrite snow foam. Think it might be the magifoam stuff. It's orange. I got their lance attachment as well. Comes out great with adjustable spray and thickness. What brand of snow foam are you using?? It's looking good!
Hi I've just hit 80,000 on the car. Yeah it's the original clutch as far as I know. Not had a problem with the car at all really. Had a wheel bearing replaced a few thousand miles back and I had a slight judder when pulling away but that's since disappeared. I think if you just go for a stage 1 map like myself you should be okay. Any more powerful then you might need to consider a new clutch. Since my map/dpf/egr delete I've had no problems what so ever and the car drives much better. Hope this helps.Hi whats the mileage on your car? are you still on the original clutch? the reason i ask is i have the same car, the guy who usually maps my car said the clutches are **** and he would only mild tune it on the remap, around 170- 175bhp, have you heard of anyone having issues with the clutch after remap?
Mines has only done 39000miles so hopefully there should be plenty left in the clutch, my first diesel, im used to the petrol turbosI'm running around 185.9bhp and 320.1ft-lbs of torque @graham1531
Yeah I would go for it if I were you. Just make sure you get someone who knows what they're doingMines has only done 39000miles so hopefully there should be plenty left in the clutch, my first diesel, im used to the petrol turbos
Stealth look ftw.
Yeah suppose it is more stealthy. Be even more so once the wraps removed that's if it's removed before I sell it. Still on the hunt for a replacement. I for some reason think the black badges on the grill look better and more aggressive on the FL like yours with the extra angles on the grill.Stealth look ftw.
Can understand what you are saying James, but I've gone for the white and black look so to complete it imo they all need doing. I personally like mine.

Yeah I think it will look good just worried about the condition of the paintwork.Think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the way it looks after the wrap is removed.
