A4 B7 2006 Drivers Door Electrical Failure

Without any warning driver door electrics have stopped working.
Drivers door fails to lock via remote control passenger, rear doors and boot ok
Interior courtesy light and climate control not working - No adjustable mirrow's
Red LED on solid or not at all

Have removed and checked CCM no sign of dampness or corrosion
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated

I'd check the wiring inside the rubber sleeve that runs from the A pillar to the door.

Yes I had this failure in the door wiring loom, dead easy fix

Common as above, but to repair properly, its best to disconnect the looms & pull through, possibly extending the wires so theyre not stressed again, its a repair we've done numerous times this way with no revisits.
