My Daytona grey S3 was treated to a Gtechniq pro new car detail when just a few days old back in September 2015. Since then I have hand washed it only twice (very carefully ) and otherwise (in colder weather) have just used pressure washer with snow foam and or citrus pre-wash or local jet wash to keep worst of the muck off.
Now that the better weather is with us (sorry - less rainy), I want to do a better job of keeping on top of it. I have tar and glue remover, iron x, citrus pre-wash, lots of shampoo (Auto Finesse), wash mitts, clay mitt and an array of Megs, Autoglym and AF polishes and waxes and I have ordered some fresh applicator pads and MF cloths.
I don't want to attack or degrade the protection offered by Gtechniq by using harsh stuff to clean/decontaminate but at the same time I'd like to keep the paint optimally smooth, clean and to get the best flake pop possible.
Any advice very welcome.
Thanks
