So my intake broke and I'm ordering the Badger V3 TIP.
Non-ESP and LHD. I'm sticking with standard filter box.

So my questions are - Can I slap on a cone filter directly on turbo just to get around for a while? Bypassing all the sensors etc. Also what gains can I expect with/without tune. Both number wise and feel wise.

Thanks

Nope.

No you can't just stick a filter on. But gains were seen 20bhp on a mapped car.

I installed a 3" exhaust and the TIP in question and picked up 22 horsepower to the wheels on the dyno. It's a good mod. Some people have a harder time installing it than others (like me), but I think it's well worth it.

Ok great, so I would assume 10HP without tune is realistic?

Still unsure why slapping a cone filter won't work. The car will run won't it?

stick a filter directly onto the turbo and then where are you going to put all the stuff that was plugged into the TIP?
