Well did the alternator clutch pulley today and learnt a good lesson.
I spent around a hr trying to get the new belt on that I bought off eBay, it was around 1" shorter than the belt I took off and could I he'll get it on by myself.
The old belt was still in good condition so I refitted that one which went straight on in a few mins.
Next time I will buy a named brand belt.
