Hello all,

This is my first visit to this forum and so far it looks great. I'm looking at this Forum as i'm just about (i hope) to switch from my BMW to a Audi, trouble is i'm not too sure which engine.

Will there be any differences between the 2.0 T FSI and a Chipped 2.0TDI?

I currently drive a bmw 330d, i test drove a standard 2.0 TDI today, whilst i thought it was a nice drive i think it lacks power compered to my current car. Next i will be test driving a 2.0 T FSI (dearler didnt have any to test drive today)

What are your thoughts?

thanks
Tony

Thanks for the reply. It's a good to knwo you've had both.

When i test drove the 2.0TDI yesterday i felt like i was changing gear alot more than in my 330d, i think this might be partly due the the difference in power but also the fact that the 330d has a 5 speed box rather than the 6 speed in the A3.

I will test drive the petrol 2.0 T this week, i've got my eyes on a A3 2.0T Sport of S-Line. However i went to look at the brand new Skoda Oktavia 2.0 T FSI - what a car!!!! It's got me confused!!!

thanks

I have just purchased my 2.0 T FSI A4 S-line and it's bags of fin with pleny of pull, so responsive. Good luck with the test drive.
