GAP insurance

I'll be picking the new car up on Thursday and I was thinking about GAP insurance. The dealer was saying nearly 400 quid for a back to sale price and managed service. A quick search found me 190 quid for back to sale price (over 3 years) from independent broker, I don't know if it's a managed claim though.

Does anyone have experience of it?

Went with ALA in the end for mine, think I paid about the same as you - 3 years all in for back to invoice with £20k as a claim limit. Did a good bit of research on here and other forums, seems all dealers make a tidy sum on it, happy with the quote, and just about to do the wife's car this week with them.....
