Change service interval to 5000/6 months?

Hi guys, just a quick question.

Have a b6 s4 cab and want to change the service intervals to 5000 miles or 6 months. After doing the search I see it is possible with vcds, but I cannot see it. I don't even see the SRI button.

I have vcds lite, is this why? Or is that I don't have a genuine cable and have the vagcom 401 cable (I think it is).

Also, do I get more options if I get the genuine software and cable with the b6?

I tried doing this with VCDS on my 1.9tdi as I give mine a full service every 5k, and it does my head in when it pops up nowhere near service time, but even after changing it it just stayed at 10k/12months.

I'm speaking to ross-tech who tell me it is possible. I will let you/rest of forum know if I do get it done.

I managed to change it on my old 1.9tdi using my mates new Launch diagnostic computer. He also has VCDS and I tried that on the S4 but it didn't work.
