Just bought a 2011 S5 cab with the optional adjustable suspension. I belive this relates to the dampers only so can I drop the height with the springs without affectecting the adjustment options and what could you offer?

Not too low, maybe an inch. Having come from a B7 sline cab where the ride was quite harsh I'm quite enjoying the compliance from the adjustable dampers even with 20" rims but a little drop would look nicer I think.

Ok well Eibach offer a 20mm/15mm kit and H&R offer a 30mm kit so both of those would be good options. We just need to know what engine size you have and also weather it's FWD or Quattro.

Mines a 2011 S5 Cabriolet so quattro with a V6 supercharged petrol engine. I assume the S5 is lower than standard, so are the drops you are suggesting applicable to this model?

Edit, found this from a Google search, not sure of its accuracy
  • Suspension = 0mm Lowering
  • Sports Suspension = 20mm Lowering
  • Audi Drive Select = 20mm Lowering
  • S-Line Suspension = 30mm Lowering

I think those heights are going off the none S5 model.

H&R 30mm springs - £202.00 delivered
