Instrument pod swap

Hi all,

just wondering if it's possible to have a white display facelift style dash pod in an earlier (2005) car.
I presume it will fit no problems and need coding to the new vehicle, but is it a straight swap or is there work needed to the electronics or anything like that?

It's harder than that as it needs milage correction.. @NHN has done this but there is a limit on how many miles the clock can have for it to be changed and very few people can actually do the milage correction.
