I found this online
it appears you should pressurise the system and then pump the clutch pedal, seems slightly counter intuitive as you would think it would reverse the seals?
anyone tried this:-
Connect brake filling and bleeding equipment -VAS 5234- or brake filling and bleeding equipment -V.A.G 1869-.
– To bleed system, use bleeder hose -V.A.G 1238/B-3 (670 mm long), if necessary.
– Then connect bleeder hose -V.A.G 1238/B- to collector bottle of brake bleeding unit.

(Ill be using an ezi bleed - not sure that can handle 2 bar - max is 20psi)
– Connect bleeder hose
– Pressurise system to 2 bar.
– Open bleeder screw.
– Bleed off about 100 cm3 of brake fluid.
– Rapidly pump clutch pedal through full range of travel 10 to 15 times.
– Bleed off an additional 50 cm3 of brake fluid.
– Close bleeder screw.
– Depress clutch pedal several times after bleeding process is completed.
– Repeat bleeding procedure if necessary.
