I had a bad wheel bearing causing this occasional knocking noise so i changed it out with an Audi one (£70) then noticed that wheel was getting dirty more than the rest so jacked it up and low and behold its a bit sticky, now i mean a bit, like a tiny amount, the wheel can freewheel if i spin it but you can tell by the way it stops something is holding onto it. Ive since had the hub and brakes apart to try and sort it but i cant the pad is also wearing funny on that side...

Thats the questionable wheel

Thats the one thats wearing ok.

The piston in the caliper moves freely and the calliper slides on the pins/bolts freely.

Like i say its not grabbing enough to get noticably hotter than the otherside. Its not grabbing enough to slow the car prematurely, but its not right :/ anyone got any ideas?
