Brake caliper help

Help my heads scrambled from reading so much information. So before I get pelters I have used the search button. Basically I have been offered a pair of cayenne rear 4 pot calipers. Would these be able to be used on my front brakes? A4 tdi 170? Some I read it as you can some I read it as you can't. I know they aren't the 6 pots that everyone wants but they are freebies if I can make them work.

No mate the calipers off the Q7/CAYENNE /TOUAREG came in 2 sizes the 17z (4pot) that takes only 330mm rotors these came on the Q7 and TOUAREG the 18z (6pot) came on all 3 models but came as standard on the CAYENNE and take both 350mm and 330mm rotors.
