Bought this when I was in Malaysia this year. Everyone seems to have them on their cars over there.
Anyway just had a go at fitting last weekend.
Pretty sure it won't be MOT pass so I fitted a switch to turn off or make solid state like a normal brake light.

Might take off, just thought I'd see if I like it for a while. Gimmick really.

Will it flash when you are harvesting kers?

I'd imagine you'd get pulled, I don't think you're allowed flashing red or blue lights on your car for obvious reasons.

I have seen quite afew cars on the road now that have flashing brake lights under heavy braking so it can't be illegal. Obviously it could get very annoying for the car behind every time you brake that flashes

Sorry I actually stuck this on the wrong forum as this is a b7. So this is a stock b7 s4 rear end.

I'm actually wondering now about just fitting a strobe module to the 3rd led brake strip, would give more of an OEM look than this dangling underneath. There are some on ebay that wait 7 secs in between strobe activation so holding off if you're in traffic and not annoying people behind.
