Hi,
I've got an 04 bkd which is loosing coolant on an hourly basis.
Luckily my mate has offered me his 2.0l bmn from his mk 5 GT TDI for free if I do the swap.

He's got a dsg gearbox in his so I'm after a new flywheel and cluctch for that engine.

I would have fitted my old clucth and flywheel but there's a possibility of me tuning the bmn.
I'm after a clutch which can handle the everyday abuse of a heavy right footy.

I'm open to any advise since I'm not exactly sure if it's going to be a straight swap.
Feel free everyone to come help out this weekend if you bored and in Wiltshire

Please dm me if you can supply a new clucth and flywheel for that engine. Thanks

LuK and Luk clutch system is normally the original setup for this engine, which I would say is a bit tougher than the SACHS generally found in the 140.

Lost count of the number of posts about failed or slipping "uprated" clutches lol

Ohhh really???
After reading a few threads on here, I was under the impression that Sachs organic clutch and flywheel would be the best because a lot of people here using it.

Got a quote from Eurocarparts for Sachs flywheel and clucth at a price of £450.

Not sure if that is an organic friction plate or not but I'm just looking for something that will do the job and at a good price :))
