My 19.Tdi (230k miles) has a problem where the EGR Valve is blowing oil residue from the joints, and also further along the breather to the right. Had the EGR valve cleaned not too long ago. Anyone know why the leakage might be occurring? Not sure where to go from here. Image attached.
Also, the engine has become rather noisy, i.e. more of a subtle metallic pinking on the engine note. Wondering if it all might be connected?
