Hard wiring a dashcam, which fuse?

Looking at hard wiring in my dashcam and was wondering which fuse did you use to piggyback for power?

That would depend if you want permanent live or ignition ?

A spare one.
Don't put the load on an existing circuit, when there are lots of spare positions in the fuse box would be my advice.
