I've got a 05 2.0 tdi a3 When I'm building boost the car sometimes drops boost for a slight second and you can here the tsssh noise and it hesitates, now it's a diesel so it shouldn't sound like it has a BOV, also when you start to put your food down building up boost and when you lift off you can hear it fluttering like a BOV also, last night we cleaned the EGR after 100k worth of carbon (it was filthy) we swapped some 75 valve or whatever it is on my model of car and also swapped the MAF to no avail, I've got a new turbo sitting in the box but I'm trying to make sure it's actually the turbo as If it's not it's a waste of a new turbo and £££. Any help would be great. Syptoms on a turbo on the way out?
