Things to do around Manchester

Hey peeps,

I will be going over to visit some relatives in Manchester at the end of August and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on where to go or what do to? Anything relating to cars would be good but even general ideas would also be appreciated. I will be along with my brother.

Depends what dates. There are a few car shows on a Tatton Park again date dependent, have a search of their site.
Also depends on what you like?! There are a few museums around Deansgate, and Oulton Park has the Gold Cup on the bank holiday weekend
