Day1 S3 disaster

Guys, appreciate any suggestions.

Just bought a 2000 S3 with 126k miles. A bit rough round the body which I will get sorted but it was driving nicely. First day I had it was stretching its legs on some country roads and gave it full acceleration in 3rd. There was a hiss and all of a sudden no/very-little acceleration from that point onwards. The turbo is whistling but the power doesn't seem to be going to the engine. There isn't any smoke out the back so I'm wondering if something has become disconnected.

What do you think has happened?

Pipe popped or spilt most likely...

Scan for fault codes and check for hoses that may have come off... do a physical check starting from the turbo as a pipe might look on but if the clip is damaged and not holding it will pop off or leak under boost

Sounds like a boost leak or a pipe has popped off somewhere in the system.
