RNS-E Unit 'Stuck' after catches release

Hi Folks,

Recently installed an updated RNS-E nav plus - works great.

Problem is, i'm now trying to remove the unit to install a Bluetooth adapter but it's getting stuck after inserting the keys - have included a few pictures to explain better.

It 'un-clips' and pulls out this far, and i can remove the keys no problem at this stage as well. It also clips back into place just fine.

Feels as if it's locked in place still though after it pulls out a certain distance.

I'm stumped - any ideas before I remove the glove box

May be a trapped wire; it should come out easily from that position. Are you supporting the weight enough?

Far as i'm aware yeah, have tried pushing from the bottom of the unit upwards and nearly every other angle if that's what you mean.

If it's a stuck cable, might be able to get at it with a long / thin enough screwdriver?

have you tried taking the climate control unit out and then reaching up behind the unit to push it out?
