Not been on the forum for ages as I changed jobs and had to give my 64 plate A3 Sportback S-line 1.4 COD with S-Tronic back. Now with my new job I have ordered another A3 S-Line but a 2.0TDI manual. Ordered it as it was in stock due to a cancellation and therefore could be delivered in 10 days plus now doing about 30k mile per year and the 2.0 TDI will give me a better fuel return. But I did love the 1.4 with S-tronic. Part of me thinks I will regret not going for an auto again. Anyway most of my driving is motorway so the cruise control will help out there.
Taking delivery of my new A3 on 23rd June so just under a week to go. Options fitted are black styling pack, black roof rails, privacy glass, comfort pack with cruise control and Audi parking system plus with park assist,10 spoke titanium Matt polished wheels and hold assist all wrapped up in Glacier white metallic paint. Options not completely my choice but needed a company car asap and this A3 was in stock due to a cancellation plus got the lease price down to the same as a standard Sline with only the comfort pack with cruise control and rear parking sensors as the car had been at the dealers for just under 2 months so lease company got a good price from the dealers.
Looking forward to it, just hope I love it as much as the 1.4 COD S-Tronic. I've been driving a hire car since returning the old A3 and must say it's been fun using the manual and do feel a bit more in control especially on the country lanes. Hope I've not made a mistake as I got this for 3 years.
