I removed my n249 a few months ago and i'v had no problems at all, it seems to speed up the dump valve reaction a little if anything.

Craig, do you still have this car? Any more updates? I have an 03 TQS and might be looking to go down similar routes very soon, stage one isnt quite enough anymore.
