Parcel shelf keeps popping out

I think I saw someone else with this problem but couldn't find the thread. Everyone now and then the passenger side of my parcel shelf will pop out of its fitting (the plastic clip you push in near the seat) and then it makes an annoying squeak when driving. To fix it I have to take off the string and then push it back in.

Anyone else have this issue and fixed it?

I had the same problem when the car was in the garage for another problem that involved taking the interior trim out.
You should be able to push the trim panel back in properly, which will sort out the spacing issue, causing the shelf to pop out.

Ye the trim that it holds on to does have quite a lot of play in it, so it must pop out while driving and the trim moves about. I'll see if I can secure it.

The one below the C pillar. It carries the socket for the shelf.

have tried pushing the trim back in it doesn't seem to fix the issue, the shelf Is still loose, have used Velcro as a temp fix,
