Hello, quick question having looked into the firmware my navigation plus is using, it shows up as x---- does this mean its a hacked firmware?

The current disk in there is 2013 one. The issue im having is when selecting the cd/tv button to allow me to select the memory card it gets stuck, so each time i have to remove the battery terminal inorder for it to function correctly.

Will updating the firmware allow it to work as it should? Will that fix the issue of it getting stuck each time i try and exit the navigation. Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

To my knowledge its the mk1 rnse, theres no glossy bits on it etc like the mk2.

Yes its been hacked to rewrite the pin no. probably nicked mate, tbh rewriting FW maybe cause issue with existing pin no.

So basically theres no point updating it? Well ive no idea about it being nicked, but who cares aslong as it does the job.
