Hi all. I had my car remapped from the standard 143bhp and 320nm torque to approximately 180bhp and 400nm torque and I'm getting clutch slip in 4th, 5th and 6th. It's not all that surprising because the car has done 80k on the original clutch which I suspect could be on its way out anyway as I did have a few slips before the remap.
Anyway what I want to know is if I have the clutch and flywheel replaced with the standard Audi OEM parts will this cure my slip problems, i.e. will the new clutch be strong enough to hold with the remapped power?
I've only ever had a petrol Golf GTi remapped in the past and I didn't get any clutch problems at all and I've tried to find out how much power/torque the standard clutch on my Audi A4 will take but I can't find anything to say the standard clutch will be fine or otherwise.
Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.
