Hi there. I received only one key with my 1998 audi a3 1.8t sport( 8L chasis) and i had ordered a replacement key fob to freshen up the old one that was all loose and the buttons were burst through. I swapped the blade and central locking circuit board and fitted new batteries with ease. But i cracked the transponder chip while I was trying to remove it from the old key. What can i do now about the broken glass chip or would my car still start and run with it. Or if i order a new ID48 transponder chip how can i get it programmed. And advice or ideas welcome. Thanks in advance
