2.0 TFSI Known Oil Consumption problem - 2015 ongoing thread (2009-2011 models)

I have a 2013 with the problem. If I do lots of interstate driving, I can get 1100 miles. If not interstate, I get just over 800 miles before the car tells me to add a quart.

I got a notice in the mail regarding a class action lawsuit to get reimbursed for repairs. Mine has not been repaired.

Any advice for when I take it to the Audi dealer? I am unemployed and cannot afford to pay anything to fix it.

Have you just bought the car or had it a while?
By 2013 the engines were sorted I believe...so doubt its the issues raised in this thread.
The pistons/conrods issue resulted in 1ltr of oil per 621 miles... Your getting double this.
I had it for at least a year before it started doing this. It had less than 50k on the clock. I am pushing 80k now.

Added a quart today at 735 miles. Worst yet. I am unemployed. I should just let the bank have it and deal with it.

I have to add anywhere up to a litre at a time with mine and it's the 3.0 supercharged engine. The weird thing is that it can be totally random when it needs it and I've got no fault codes coming up. Sometimes I have to top up a few times a month, other times it can go months without a top up.

On a positive note, at least the engine is getting regular fresh oil lol

Called the Audi dealer in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday. They said a service advisor would call back. No call. About what i expected.

I'm not sure about in America, but certainly in the UK I avoid main dealers like the plague. A good reputable independent specialist for the win.
