Recently bought myself a 2007 S4 Cab and now just adding a few mods here and there.
I bought some Interior White LEDs from Ebay which said they were for the RS4 Cab which looked similar in terms of the number of bulbs required. Couldnt find an ebay listing for S4...
The listing was called AUDI 14 PIECE INTERIOR MAP FOOT WELL LIGHT KIT b6 b7 8p rs4 SLINE WHITE LED
The bulbs all work when the keys aren't in.
When the key is turned to first position, the dome lights start strobing/flashing. Also if you turn on the vanity mirror lights do the same. Footwells seems ok.
Once the engine is on, they are all ok again.
So really only a problem if i want a light on, when the cars not running.
Any clues as to why they might be doing that? Or how to fix? From reading, it seems its canbus/resistor problems? But I haven't managed to find a thread where someone mentions the same issue with key being in.
