hi.
I'm having an issue with my car. When I start it up from cold it takes a while before it will accelerate smoothly. Almost as if it is restricted/ missing?? It pretty much sorts itself out after 5 or 10 mins.

I had a coil die on me the other day but I replaced it, would it be possible that the other ones could be on the way out? I've also heard of changing the gap in the plugs?

Any help appreciated

Oh, I meant to say, I have vcds so is there anything I can log to give me more info?

scan for fault codes and you can check for misfires on VCDS. Not sure what block shows misfires but I'm sure google will help you. Then you can swap coils/spark plugs around and see if that is causing the issue

Correctly gapped plugs are a cheap item to eliminate.
Plenty of threads on plugs and gap, use the search as I can't remember ;)

A while ago I mad a few logs as I was having a similar problem and it turned out to be fuel pump, so I replaced it and the fuelling was spot on. My current problem feels veeeeery similar. What would cause under fuelling when cold?
