I have been reading many posts in different fora regarding retrofitting a paddle shift s/w.
I didn't want multifunction, so I have acquired a 3 spoke s/w with just the shifters. It looks just like my non shifter s/w.
Some suggest it is a straight swap and a VCDS recode, but I would like to know if I have the correct steering wheel module.
How do I know? I have cruise control, and the usual buttons on the other stalks for the computer etc.
Unfortunately I don't have the part number as I haven't dared take the s/w off yet.
Any help appreciated.
