Hi

New to site.

I've just had a new Dmf and clutch, and ever since the gears 4,5,6 judder when I accelerate. The car is fine in other gears?

All wheels, tyres are balanced and new. Gearbox mounts and prop shaft have been checked.

Anyone with any ideas most welcome, as I have come to a dead end?

Thanks in advance

I had similar issue with my 2.0T avant turned out to be one of the front drive shafts.

I changed both front drive shafts but soon came clear it was the passenger side one once removed from the car it has no life left in it.

I spent loads on getting to the bottom of the judder almost replaced the clutch and DMF.

But a good mechanic said its a drive shaft problem.

So get them checked.

Thanks for reply. Is your car remapped? I think it's either something related to that, or a massive pothole I hit that took out two tyres, cv joint and wheel baring? Maybe that's done something to driveshaft? Was your car a Quattro ?

No my car was a two wheel drive.

No not remapped either

Thanks again, I'll relay drive shafts to mechanic tomorrow and hope for best...
