I have now got a loud humming noise coming from the front of the car, it gets louder the faster you go. Regardless of the engines rpm. The noise sound like tyre but is too loud to be that, and there is a slight vibration coming through the stering wheel and I mean very small. Any help appreciated thanks

Front wheel bearing is your most likely cause. Jack up the front and spin each wheel to see which one is making the noise.

Thorght this could be the case will wait until tomorrow till the rain dies down

You would be surprised at just how loud a tyre can be. My aunts car once had 2 broken coil springs on the rear which severely worn the inside edges of the tyres and driving it on the road sounded like every bearing on the car was f***ed. 2 new springs and tyres then it was lovely and quiet.

Before condemning wheel bearings, check both front tyres inner & outer edges for any signs of uneven wear/feathering (stepping)/bald edges/damage to tread/misshaped tyre.
