hi all.
trying to resolve an issue with my car, namely poor to no reception on the radio.
it also "crackles" on cd playback.
vcds put up an issue with a poor earth on the stereo.
i bought a replacement from audi, but on taking it apart last night, i see that only one cable comes away from the antenna base, not two, as on the new part.
i had thought that my base was amplified, and that the seal had let water in, causing poor reception and earthing issues. am now a bit confused.
are all s3 antenna bases amplified, because mine looks like its not.
any advice greatly appreciated as i'd like to keep the oe stereo and cd changer.
