Cornering lights on A3 Saloon

Anyone aware if it's possible to enable this in VCDS? I've a courtesy car at the min (A4 Allroad 3.0 TDI )whiich has it, and I find then really useful for coming home as I have to get around a tight bend to the rear of the house and they really help light up the wall which it's all too easy to scrape the car on if you're not careful!

They are standard on the A3 if you have the adaptive Xenon lights or above I think (possibly even the non adaptive ones, not sure). Unless the saloon is different somehow?

If you don't have those though then no amount of playing with the VCDS is going to help you if the bulb isn't even there...

I thought it just used the fog bulbs. I have HiD lights but not the adaptive ones, so looks like a no-go unfortunately.

The ones without the extra bulbs might use the fog lights, but that's a poor version of it really.

Static cornering lights (which uses the fog lights) can be enabled with VCDS, I did this on my own car and it works reasonably well. I still want to upgrade my fog lights to LEDs so that they match the colour of the xenon's better.
