what power can a stock K04 achieve?

I was just wondering what a stock K04 can run power wise?

Think Westy was just under 300bhp with a brand new but standard K04, but it was running on its limits if I remember correctly?

Just got home with my car and I fricking love it!
It was such a nice drive home. On the motorway it drives great off boost due to all the ignition timing, then on boost it pulls like a train.
I have graphs galore showing loads of different logs but the one were all interested in says 305bhp and 338lbft
I'll get the graph scanned in when I'm at work next week.

actually he peaked at just over 300bhp but he was running it right at the limit which isn't great for reliability

if you run 4 ko4s, each of them driven and providing 30psi to 1 cylinder. With direct port unicorn dust injection

....while utilising the power of dyno lottery... a std K04 can only flow 280ish hp of air.... the rest is timing advance, luck of the Irish and dyno lottery

also ask what host of OTHER mods were also on that car............. and the peak figure was a one off "cold run" as thereafter it would drop power as heat killed things
