Fitting Lcr Brembos - How Hard Is It?

As above really, looking to buy some LCR brembos and fit them to my S3 prior to getting a remap as i think the OEM brakes on it are pretty rubbish as it is!

My question is, how difficult is it to achieve. I've removed and refitted calipers before but only on motorbikes. Not on a car, only changed discs and pads before. Can't find a how-to either on this.

Also, would i required new brake lines for them and carriers? or would the carriers and lines off of a LCR do the job?

as the hubs on a LCR are the same as an S3 they would be a straight bolt on job id suggest
 
If buying LCR Bembos then you will need the calipers and the brackets (as the capliers are the radial mount type)... you will need LCR 323mm discs, pads of your choosing and either the LCR brake hoses or you can buy a set of braided hoses from Bill @ Badger5

There is a big brakes thread in the FAQs... worth a read...

Fitting them is straight forward enough... as long as you have the right bits of course...

Mechanically, it's pretty simple providing you have all the right parts, the hardest bit is bleeding the system afterwards.

I used a Gunson Eezibleed thing, followed the instructions exactly and it made it a one man operation and worked perfectly with no mess.

Thanks, yeah i've heard of the Eezibleed bit of kit, looks like it'll make life ten times easier!
