Same has happened to mine mate. I've done a lot of research on this (seems very common on the a4 cabriolet) and the best product is 3M Window Weld! You need a Polyurethane Primer to put down first tho. It can be done, just a bit of a tricky job.
I could only find 3M window weld for sale in the USA on eBay tho
Not my thread or pics but it details the process. Looks a bit messy so care would need to be taken to get as neat / oem looking finish as possible. Doing mine as soon as the 3m turns up luckily the cabrio is not my daily so it can stay in the garage for a few days for the adhisive to cure fully
3M Window Weld is a USA product. I used DINITROL 500 WINDSCREEN FITTING KIT BONDING ADHESIVE GLUE off ebay same thing; sticky black and hard to work with. Does an excellent job if you clean up window and canvas then use the primer.
