Is there a security key in the glove box then on some models?

On my current (and previous) A5, there is an empty 'shell' which accepts the small plastic emergency key which, when both are assembled, fits into the key slot on the dash so you can start the car. Anyone who leaves the key part in there is asking for trouble (IMO).

Oh ok, there as a backup I presume. Yer it's common sense to not leave it in the car.
