I've just discovered the vacuum diaphragm has split and the valve won't be working now.
Question is, what exactly does it do ?
Do I need to replace it straight away or can it wait a while until I remove the egr and manifold for a clean ?
Also, can anyone help with a list of gasket part numbers for the manifold and egr and also the vacuum actuator itself
Many thanks

the diaphragm controls the swirlflaps in the inlet manifold, if it is split you would get a flat spot/hesitation around 1800-2000 rpm.
I changed mine and it was a different car! actuator is only about £12 iirc
