Microswitch for rear wiper >>>>where do i find it

I have had issues with my S3 ....currently it has been sounding an alarm and the dash continually shows the boot is still open when its not and the rear windscreen wiper doesn't work ....someone recommended to check the microswitch but does anyone know where to locate this ??

The micro switch will be part of the tailgate lock.
If you look at the lock you'll see the wires going to it.
