Hi guys my second post here after getting the new car..my a3 has the open sky system roof and it makes noises sometimes like a buzzing noise and a random click/pop sort of noise. Has anyone else heard of or had similar issues? if so did you get it fixed or is it something im gonna have to put up with? thanks guys. took it back to the garage but he said its a known problem and can't be fixed?? surely not as I have a megane as a runner to work and it doesn't creak like this haha..once again thanks guys.

One on my car makes similar noises depending on outside temp.
I simply sprayed the mechanism and seal areas with silicone oil. It helps but no 100%.
But do remember to open all doors or windows open for a while to ventilate the odour, and cover the interior with an old cloth to prevent over spray onto seats...
