Hey guys.

I have a a4 2 ltr pd engine (blb)

I'm having trouble starting it when it's hot and cold. More so cold.

On idle it's very lumpy and horrible to sit in traffic.
It doesn't cut out. And goes rather well.

I haven't owned it long. But it's had a intake fuel pump and the tandem pump changed.

I have just serviced it myself.

I'm a mechanic also. I'm kinda good with these pd engines. This one has me confused.

It has no fault codes stored in the system whay so ever.

I did run live data and checked the injection quantity deviation

Inj 1 -45
Inj 2 5
Inj 3 8
Inj 4 -12

I don't really know what that means

Hopefully someone can help. Because I'm pulling my hair out

Jake

No I haven't. But 8j the egr was blocked it wouldn't boost surely?

I know mine was playing up while cold because the EGR was knackered. It's worth checking in any case as if it's never been checked it'll be full of crap. It could also be the fuel temperature sensor. Have you changed the fuel filter?

Yh I have changed the fuel filter.
When I ran a diagnosis. The fuel temp was reading 131f
Would it be worth me changing it
