ECU Chipping

Why don't Audi sell their cars with the upgraded ECU chips since everyone seems to have positive feedback for their visits to Amd and so on?

Also what should I expect from a 2001 A4 TDi 130bhp if I get it chipped?

This is to do with the stresses and strains it puts on the chassis, engine etc. The makers need to test to much higher limits than is required, if they increase the tuning of the car the break point will occur earlier and thus parts will have to be replaced with more expensive stronger bits

my local dealer does remaps and warrantys them. its all very hush hush though...
