A6 4.2 help??

Hi all just come over from the b7 section. Looking at selling my a4 and buying the audi A6 4.2 quattro before going to look at it is there anything I need to check or has any one on here had one and what's there experience with these any replies will help.

Basically a de-tuned B7 RS4 engine, big bills if something goes wrong, serviving will be dear, tax, fuel etc.

Don't suppose you no what tax is on this and are there any common faults with these

No idea on faults, maybe do a google as they're common in the USA.
