Handsfree question

Hi all,

I have just purchased an A3 2.0 TDI 54 reg. There is a phone mounting unit fitted to the dashboard (looks identical to the one shown in the owners manual) however there is no controls on the steering wheel. Does anyone know if I was to purchase a genuine Audi phone adapter/cradle for my phone whether it would definitely work?

Any pics to confirm its genuine kit, is it cut into the dash as such, just above the glovebox handle area as such.

Scan for bluetooth, turn car on & see if the car picks up Audi UHV.
