2500 revs on stand still audi a4 tdi auto

hi there is it normal to only rev 2500rpm at standstill and wont go over. for example is there a limiter

Yes perfectly normal mate , a limit feature when in park. Dont worry about it !

Not just the Auto .... My TDi has the same limit I have noticed if you rev the engin.
