So, I see many differing views on acceleration but can't wait to try this one out.
In the meantime I'v just sold my 1.9VW golf tdi 130bhp (6 speed man) which even though 11 years old (I had it from new) had only done 98,000 miles. The main thing about this car was it's performance which seemed to get better and better as the years went by. It had masses of torque, so much so that I never really believed it to be a 130. I think engines seem to vary according to the build batch they come from.
I do hope my new engine is from a "good batch" and still looking forward to winter driving with LED.
