Will any steering wheel module work?

Hi, I've damaged my steering wheel module giving me no ignition at all. If I was to buy a new one can I buy one that's cruise control so I can fit the stalk at a later date and it will still work or do I need to get the matching serial number as mine

If you want one for cruise you may as well get the one that also supports MFSW...
you would need 8P0 953 549 F

And if you want a highline module (8P0 953 549 F) I will have one for sale in the next couple of weeks as I'm putting my car back to standard.
