I know there aren't many A3s about with the towbar, but if there are any - has anyone come up with a solution for the fact that the hatch to cover the gap where the towbar goes seems to be the most useless, fiddly bit of kit they could have come up with for that?
It fits the gap and looks fine when on, but the plastic studs they give you are an absolute pain to both line up and then correctly position to lock the hatch in place, it's just nasty.
Are there any alternatives available? Even just replacing the plastic studs with metal ones would make quite a difference I think (and something I may try, though my metalworking skills are non existent)
